gender bias: separate but equal isn’t

I was planning on writing about Fire Principle and Water Principle again tonight. And I might actually get there. But as I was thinking about what I wanted to say, something important occurred to me. Well not occurred so much, as I realized I was annoyed by it.

Fire principle, is another way of talking about expansive force. Bardon called it the Electric force. Water principle is contractive force, what Bardon called the Magnetic force. The union of these, Electro-magnetic force, is the essence of life, the spark of transformation and change.

I’ve been connecting with people on LiveJournal a bit more frequently these days. As a result, I’ve started cross-posting. Those of you on live-journal should now be able to see the content of autumn-twilight before the –MORE– tag pop up on Live Journal.

I built a new desk

I was using a very small desk that Mark had left behind. I bought a new chair earlier this week, and I’ve been wanting a larger, more workable desk. Today, I took some spare lumber (cheap pine) that was lying around and build myself a desk from it. I’m very pleased with the results. Took a couple hours.

Dollhouse: Soul Retrieval

Okay, so I’m supposed to be writing about Fire principle and Water principle tonight. And I really do want to write about that, but it’s not taking my attention nearly as much as Soul Retrieval is, so I’m going to postpone what I was planning on writing for another topic entirely.

John and I just watched the last two episodes of Dollhouse, Season 1. I’ve seen them before, John hasn’t. Beware, if you haven’t seen it the rest of this post might spoil some pieces of it.
