Go to Google. Search for “does walgreens carry foot detox pads”
Strangely enough, this site comes up in the top several listings. That’s right, Autumn Twilight was number three for a search about foot detox pads (As I write this it’s dropped to number four). What the fuck are foot detox pads?!
If you came to this site because of these mysterious pads, comment. I want to know what they are! — More importantly, I want to know why you clicked on a link obviously unrelated to your search! — Was the sample text “He pads by the Walgreens in his sandals, and across Broadway. He lets his feet take him down the … He bows slightly and steps forward with his left foot. …” just THAT compelling?
Update: 2007 10 22: “does walgreens carry foot detox pads” –> I feel Lucky, now results in this site. Fascinating!

You actually ranked #1 for “does walgreens carry foot detox pads” on google. These mysterious pads are the latest health craze. It is claimed by the manufacturers that when applied to the feet before going to bed, these pads will draw the toxins out of body while you sleep. When u wake up, you will see discolored pads. It is supposedly a sign that these pads are working and the toxins in your body are actually sucked out from under your feet. But even so, experts believe it’s a load of c**p. For a serious internal cleansing you’re going to need more then foot pads because at best these pads are only removing trace amounts of waste from your body. Check out this site for more information on how to detox your body.

Awesome!
Thanks for the information Julia. That’s fascinating. These foot detox pads sound like bad science/bad medicine to me.
Coming from a holistic tradition I certainly recognize the importance of carefully detoxifying yourself on a regular basis. My friends and I often do a 1 day detox cycle once a month.
Thanks for the comment!
